Dear Friends
Today I want to announce some exciting news for my students. An album has been produced that is Iraqi music for dance. This was produced by my dear friend Anna and Somar and will be offered to all those attending my workshops. This album is a great accompaniment to all Iraqi dance students and is absolutely the first of its kind and I am so thrilled that we finally have another teaching tools to add to our Iraqi dance and cultural education.

Dear Dance family It is with great joy and excitement for me to be able announce that in January 2019 myself and a team of exceptional performers will be participating in a cultural exchange of the performance arts Sulymania, Kurdistan, IRAQ!!!!! For some time now I have been working with Dilshad Hasttyyar and The Kurdish Artist Union on a cultural project that would bring our two countries together through the arts. The Swedish team of artists will include Robert Svard, Anna Ottertn, Hanan Thorstensen, Ann Sehlstedt, Jonas Orkner and myself of course. Further to this, I am delighted that our special guests, joining us from Baghdad, are my teachers and mentors Foaud Thanoon and Hannah Abdullah of the Iraqi National Troupe of Folkloric Arts.
Hello dear dance friends. It is my joy and pleasure to announce my return to Ufa, Russia to the Almaz festival organized by my dear sweet friend Yana Gilmutdinova. Whenever I return to Russia I am reminded of the dance relationship that our countries have. I have very fond memories of the training the National Troupe recieved from our Russian dance family. I cannot wait to go and see all my friends there and work on Iraqi style dances that are the true and authentic styles that dance world.
